New, used, or refurbished?
The cheapest sticker price is not always the lowest-risk purchase.

You pay for full warranty coverage, the latest battery or wear components, and the lowest chance of hidden history.
Refurbished needs a definition
Seller-refurbished can mean almost anything. Manufacturer-certified or retailer-backed programs are more meaningful when they include testing and warranty coverage.
Used is condition-dependent
A lightly used durable product can be a bargain. A device dominated by battery health, water exposure, or hidden wear is much harder to judge.
Price the risk
A 15 percent discount is not enough if the downside is a costly failure with no recourse.
